Rug Storage Instructions
Step 1: To start off, first, you have to thoroughly and we mean thoroughly clean your rug. This includes both dusting and vacuuming. Not doing so, can permanently stain your rug, especially if it’s white. You can also get a professional to clean the rug for you if you want maximum cleaning.
Step2: Next, clean the area you wish to store your rug in. if not the entire place, then at least the spot where you are planning to put the rug in.
Step 3: Now that you are done with the prerequisites, tightly roll up your rug.
Step 4: Tightly wrap your rug with paper or plastic, leaving no space uncovered. Doing so will restrict any outside dust from entering your rug roll.
Step 5: Now place the rug in the spot you cleaned. Try to keep it in a place that is not directly touching the floor.
Step 6: Once the rug has been placed, remember to never place any heavy object on top of the roll as this can flattening or damage the shape of your rug.
And that’s it. You have now successfully stored your precious rug. Now, if you wish to take it out, simply unwrap it, unroll it and place it on the floor. You can clean the rug once more after placing to make sure any dust that had managed to creep in, is gone.
