Egger Flooring
About Egger Flooring
In 1961, Egger Flooring commissioned their first chipboard plant in St. Johann. Egger Flooring is a family-run business with a strong equity base. At Egger Flooring, they can largely finance investments in their growth from their resources. They try to use external financing in a targeted manner and to a very limited extend. Their team of highly qualified employees plays a major role in making us one of the leading European companies in the wood-based material industry.
Flooring Options
Egger floorings are available for both residential and commercial purposes. They promise to give their customer more for wood, which means that they don’t just offer products for furniture and interior design, but also offer wood-based flooring along with building materials. Egger offers laminate, cork, and design floors to their valued customers. Each of these floors is durable and practical for use. However, quality does not mean, the customers have to compromise on look. Egger offers stylish designs and patterns so that their customer can get the perfect floor.

Sustainability
Egger is dedicated to protect and restore terrestrial ecosystems. Egger floorings also promote the management of their sustainable forest resource. All the wood supplies Egger uses comes from verified legal and sustainable sources, which are controlled according to the ISO 38200. Egger roundwood purchases are sourced from forests that have third-party verification against internationally recognized standards such as FSC, PEFC, or SFI. Egger tries to use internationally certified energy and environmental management systems following ISO 50001, ISO 14001, and EMAS. Egger floorings use sawmill by-products, which allows them to decrease their reliance on direct supplies of roundwood from the forest.
